Job Description

As part of the Finance Shared Service Centre, you will be working closely as part of a small team to deliver transactional support to a variety of businesses within the New Market Sector. The FSSC is a volume driven, dynamic environment with excellent opportunities for innovation and new models of working to help us achieve our objectives of a first-class finance service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain strong controls around the payment of invoices and credit notes
  • Process supplier invoices received accurately and in a timely manner
  • Resolve queries with invoices and credit notes
  • Process pro-forma invoices and ensure the related tax invoice is received and processed in a timely manner
  • Preparing weekly payment runs
  • Checking and processing employee expenses, including resolution of queries and reconciliation of
  • the corporate credit card account
  • Vendor statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with vendors on the phone and by email
  • Reconciling AP control account to GL at month end
  • Reviewing Aged Vendor reporting
  • Maintain documentation for procedures and controls covering these processes
  • Posting month end journals
  • Filing and archiving
  • Maintenance of work instructions
  • Other ad hoc duties as required
