We are recruiting for a Forklift Truck Operative.
Duties include -
- Loading and unloading delivery vans and lorries
- Moving goods to correct areas in warehouse, either manually or using mechanical handling equipment, incl. pallet stacker and forklift truck
- Bar-coding parts and allocating storage spaces
- Relocating and restocking goods
- Complying with health, safety, and security procedures
- Pick orders for shipment
- Packing of container shipment for despatch
- Maintaining the Warehouse in a tidy state and clearing away packaging material and debris
- Having clear understanding of the company's polices and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
- Ad-hoc duties - willingness to assist others during busy periods
This role is temporary with a view to going permanent.
Due to location, own transport is advised.
