As a key member of the team, you will play an instrumental part in managing exceptional levels of service to key national contracts, working closely with our customer, provide catering services to the Business and Industry, Education, Defence and judicial sectors.
This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the product range, including New Product Development through existing and new supplier channels. Working closely with the National Account Controller, you will ensure that robust day to day controls are in place for the creation and upload of multiple price files, rebate management, availability and stock management, in line with service level agreements as well as addressing key operational issues.
This role also requires an open working relationship with Category Management teams, suppliers and the National Account Controller to deliver business objectives, consistent with sales strategies.
The ideal candidate will be required to take on full responsibility and ownership of the customer relationship, ensuring additional sales opportunities and maximising profit potential, in addition to providing a first-class account management service to the customer portfolio.
Specific experience/qualifications required: Reporting directly to the Administration Manager, the ideal candidate will take responsibility for the data accuracy and integrity of supplier / product / customer data and assist the National Account Controller in generating incremental sales / profit for their account portfolio. There is also a requirement to manage forecast / supply management activities and analytical tasks to a high level of accuracy.
In addition, there is a requirement to work with the account administration team to perform administrative account support functions. The successful candidate will also need to work closely with supply chain, customer service and the logistics teams in respect of forecast demand, service availability, customer service excellence and logistic efficiency.
Detailed analytical performance evaluations and reviews will be required and therefore proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Business Objects, SAP and PowerPoint is essential.
Given this role is a primary customer contact point, a highly professional and well organised approach will be required in order to maintain and develop the overall relationship. Excellent communication skills, and experience in data analysis would also be beneficial for this role.
