Own transport required due to location.
Key responsibilities-
- Picking orders, keeping records of goods out, preparing despatch notes, labels, and manifests
- Loading and unloading delivery vans and lorries
- Checking correct quantities and type of goods received
- Recording any damaged, missing, or faulty products, preparing and submitting claims
- Moving goods to correct areas in warehouse, either manually or using mechanical handling equipment, incl. pallet stacker and forklift truck
- Barcoding parts and allocating storage spaces
- Relocating and restocking goods
- Reporting for reordering when stock gets low
- Responding to and dealing with internal, external communication by email, telephone and in person
- Supporting and cooperating with all internal company departments, developing very good relationship with these
- Complying with health, safety, and security procedures
- Maintaining the Warehouse in a tidy state and clearing away packaging material and debris
- Having clear understanding of the company's polices and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
- Ad-hoc duties - willingness to assist others during busy periods
